Director of Larian Studios played Baldur’s Gate 3 after 6 years of development and 130 hours of gameplay.

Developers from Larian Studios once again visually prove that they are true gamers and truly love their projects. Despite years of development, numerous difficulties, and reworkings, they find time to fully complete their own game. Today, one of the directors of Larian Studio distinguished himself by successfully completing Baldur’s Gate 3 and spending over 130 hours on it.

Michael Daus, the Director of Publishing Strategy at Larian Studios, boasted on his personal social media page about completing Baldur’s Gate 3. It took him about 130 hours to reach the final credits and complete side quests. The adventures in Baldur’s Gate 3 ended for him at 3:45 am, as the final part of the game captivated him. Along with development, Daus spent over 6 years and hundreds of hours on preliminary testing, but today he completed the release version for the first time.

It is now 3:45 am, so it is difficult to reflect on every key moment over these 6 years. As I sit here and watch the credits roll, I can say that the game was worth all the difficulties and personal sacrifices from every developer.

– describes his emotions Michael Daus, Director of Publishing Strategy at Larian Studios.

Truly an exceptional game because it was created by special people. You can see their fragments in every aspect of its design and hear their whispers in every decision you make.

– adds the director.

A short break awaits the main Larian Studios team, and then they will all strive to create a new ambitious project that may surpass all the achievements of Baldur’s Gate 3.
