The province of Batangas, located south of Manila, has reported 55 fatalities as of Sunday, according to provincial police chief Jacinto Malinao.

In Camarines Sur province alone, many residents are stranded on rooftops and upper floors awaiting rescue efforts.
Tragic incidents including electrocution and drowning have claimed two lives in Cavite province while five additional bodies were recovered elsewhere, bringing the total death toll to 100 based on official sources.
Civil Defence Office representative Edgar Posadas warned that more casualties may be discovered as rescuers reach previously inaccessible areas affected by Tropical Storm Trami.
The weather conditions improved over the weekend allowing for cleanup operations and intensified search efforts.
