Joe Holmes, a final year student at the University of Essex, saw the email immediately and clicked the link to claim his tickets. However, he was met with a message stating that no tickets were available. Dozens of people experienced the same issue, believing they had secured entry to the concert before being let down once they tried to collect tickets. Many Twitter users posted screenshots of the “congratulations” email and expressed frustration about the confusing messaging.
