The 30lb terrier mix, ‌Rippy, went‌ missing in North Canaan on May 4th, with the local⁣ animal shelter receiving reports ⁣of his barking days later.

A drone search by a volunteer yielded no results, but Rippy’s barks‌ were heard again when quarry workers ‍took a lunch break the following day. Unable to reach him, firefighters were called in to assist. Thanks to the brave actions of two rope team members, Rippy was successfully rescued.
