The renowned Altai Regional Drama Theater, known as the Shukshin Theater, has decided to bid farewell to the beloved play “Two Angels, Four People” by journalist Victor Shenderovich. According to reports from “Siberia. Realities”, the final performance of this iconic production will be held on April 30th.
For years, this play has been a cornerstone of the theater’s repertoire, captivating audiences with its powerful storytelling. Despite its popularity, the theater has made the difficult decision to remove any mention of the play’s author from its website.
In a heartfelt message on their VKontakte page, the theater expressed, “For over a decade, ‘Two Angels, Four People’ has been a shining star in our lineup, drawing full houses and touching hearts. But now, the time has come to say goodbye. Join us on April 30th for the final performance of this comedy exploring life, death, good, evil, and the quest for justice. Whether you’ve been meaning to see it for ages or you’re a devoted fan, this is your last chance to experience ‘Two Angels, Four People’.”
