Compensation for a legal case filed in 2018 regarding Apple’s butterfly MacBook keyboards has begun to be distributed. The settlement website now confirms that payments for valid claims will be sent out in August. Recently, 9to5Mac’s Michael Burkhardt shared that he received two settlement checks in the mail over the weekend. The amount MacBook owners will receive depends on the extent of repairs needed, with some potentially receiving up to $395.
