Zoho is enhancing its suite of collaboration tools with new AI, workflow automation, and industry-specific features to facilitate unified project management and efficient asynchronous collaboration for global businesses with diverse schedules.
The four main collaboration tools – Zoho Projects, Zoho Notebook, Zoho WorkDrive, and Zoho Sign – are all receiving updates, including industry-specific enhancements.
Zoho Projects now integrates natural language processing powered by Zia, the company’s AI engine, allowing users to easily search across Zoho’s applications. Additionally, Zia Insights in Projects can generate custom charts and analytics dashboards to provide task recommendations.
Zoho Notebook, the dynamic note-taking app, is also leveraging Zia’s capabilities to offer smart summarization, task management, automatic topic tagging, data analysis, visual chart creation, and calendar integration. The app works seamlessly with Zoho Projects and WorkDrive, enabling contextual note-taking, sharing, and collaboration.
Workflow automation is a key focus for Zoho, with Zoho Projects, WorkDrive, and Sign now supporting Blueprint, Zoho’s visual workflow automation technology. This allows users to create scalable, repeatable project workflows, streamlining processes such as legal reviews, contract approvals, data collection, HR operations, and task management.
Zoho Sign now includes the ability to create reusable templates for various documents, with automatic routing to team members. It also offers knowledge-based authentication for financial firms and compliance controls for healthcare and life science industries. Zoho claims businesses can achieve an 80% faster document turnaround compared to traditional physical signatures.
