Microsoft has announced a permanent price drop for Seagate’s Xbox Series X/S Expansion Cards, following recent discounts from retailers. The 512GB model now starts at $90, while the 1TB and 2TB variants are priced at $150 and $280 respectively. This represents a 32% and 30% reduction from the previous prices of $220 and $280 for the 1TB and 2TB models. While some may still consider the proprietary storage solution too expensive, the price cut is a positive step for Microsoft’s ninth-generation consoles. It also means that Expansion Cards will be more affordable during future sales.
