Venus experiences fierce hurricane-like winds that can reach speeds of up to 200 miles per hour‍ (322 kilometers per hour) at high altitudes. These hurricane-force winds, known as super-rotation, ⁤circle the entire planet in just four Earth days, much faster than the planet’s rotation period of 243 days.
