Logitech has expanded its Mevo lineup with the introduction of the new Mevo Core, a 4K live-streaming camera designed for creators. Unlike its predecessor, the 1080p Mevo Start, the Mevo Core offers improved video quality with minimal graininess when using cropping and digital zoom. However, the higher quality comes with a higher price tag, costing three times as much for a three-camera setup.
The Mevo Core allows for wireless multicam live-streaming directly to platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook, with the option to record content for later upload. Priced at $999 for the body only, Logitech will also offer lens bundle kits through Amazon and B&H Photo Video. Additionally, the camera requires at least one Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens to get started, with compatibility for both powered and manual MFT lenses.
Featuring a large 4/3 CMOS sensor, Logitech claims that the Mevo Core reduces noise, enhances low-light performance, and improves depth of field compared to previous models.
