Exciting news for Pokémon TCG fans as the new Crimson Haze expansion has unveiled its first cards, featuring the debut of Bloodmoon Ursaluna in the Trading Card Game and a range of new prints. The game is moving into the Scarlet and Violet era, leaving behind older Sword and Shield sets, while still maintaining the validity of several expansions in the Standard format. With the focus currently on the Paldean Fates set and the upcoming release of Pokémon TCG: Temporal Forces, details about a new set have emerged.
According to Pokébeach, the first cards of the new set were revealed during Japan’s Championship League Fukuoka. In Japan, the set is known as Crimson Haze, but it is expected to be combined with another set when it arrives in the Western market.
Highlighted in a post by Serebii on X, two of the revealed cards are Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex in its regular and Special Illustration Rare forms, marking the first appearance of the creature’s alternative form from the Scarlet and Violet’s Teal Mask DLC in Pokémon TCG.
In addition to Bloodmoon Ursaluna, the Crimson Haze set also introduced cards for Scream Tail ex, Iron Thorns ex, Applin, and Dipplin, indicating that Paradox Pokémon will continue to be a focus in upcoming expansions. The set also features cards for Perrin, Kitakami’s Community Center, and the Caretaker NPC, along with Phione, Enhanced Hammer, Lucky Helmet, and Unfair Stamp cards, showcasing the diverse themes and characters included in the expansion.
