Is there anything that can slow down Nvidia’s Jensen Huang?
Jensen Huang is a man with a mission, but that doesn’t stop him from sharing a good story about himself. Last spring, amidst Nvidia’s rise in generative artificial intelligence (AI), he and his wife purchased a new home in the Bay Area. Despite being busy, Mr. Huang admitted that he didn’t have much time to visit the house before buying it, only to later realize that the surrounding plants triggered his hay fever.
Mr. Huang often uses self-deprecating humor. During Nvidia’s annual developers’ conference, he took the stage to a crowd of 11,000 people and humorously reminded them that it wasn’t a concert, promising them a mix of science, algorithms, computer architecture, and mathematics. The audience cheered in response.
Nvidia’s fans on Wall Street had dubbed the event the “AI Woodstock,” but it was far from it. However, Jensen Huang’s performance was reminiscent of a rock star. Dressed in his trademark leather jacket, he delivered an exhilarating performance, making complex topics sound easy and captivating the audience with his ambition to push “gen AI” to its limits.
