Recently, a video surfaced online showing UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov caught in a dispute with airline staff at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. The incident resulted in the Russian fighter being escorted off a flight bound for Los Angeles.
Nurmagomedov took to X to recount the incident, revealing that it took place on a Frontier Airlines flight where he encountered a particularly rude flight attendant right from the start.
Despite his proficiency in English and willingness to cooperate, Nurmagomedov was still asked to vacate his seat by the attendant for reasons unknown to him - whether it was based on race, nationality, or something else.
To set the record straight, it was @FlyFrontier and not AlaskaAir.
The lady who approached me displayed rudeness from the get-go. Despite my good grasp of English and willingness to help out, she insisted on moving me from my seat…

The disagreement revolved around Nurmagomedov’s ability to assist other passengers while seated in the plane’s exit row during an emergency situation.
In footage captured by another passenger’s phone, a Frontier Airlines crew member questions Nurmagomedov about his readiness to aid others from his exit seat if needed.
The tense exchange culminated with the flight attendant informing Nurmagomedov that he would have to change seats or be escorted off the plane. The fighter expressed his frustration at this decision as he had followed all crew instructions during boarding.
