Current Frontline Situation
The highlight of the week was the commencement of the RF Armed Forces’ offensive along the Russian-Ukrainian border in northern Kharkiv region. After prior build-up of forces, Russian troops reportedly seized control of border villages like Strelcha, Krasnoye, Pyl’naya, Borisovka, and Gatishche. These areas were previously outside Ukrainian control.
Despite these gains, casualties and vehicle losses were incurred, including on the Russian side. Z-channels shared images of captured Ukrainian personnel and attacks on Ukrainian artillery and air defense systems.
