Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has introduced passkey support for PlayStation accounts, eliminating the need to manually enter your password each time you log in. This new feature allows users to sign in using their mobile device or computer and utilize their device’s screen unlocking method, such as a PIN, fingerprint, or facial recognition. Additionally, passkeys offer enhanced security by preventing reuse and unauthorized access, making them more resilient against phishing and data breaches. Setting up a passkey is a simple process that can be done through the Security section of Account Management.
