Independent analysts have discovered a discrepancy in the Russian media footage showing the shelling of Luhansk on June 7. They have pointed out that the images mistakenly identify S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missiles as the wreckage of ATACMS missiles used by the Russian Armed Forces. This observation was made by OSINT analyst Oliver Alexander, Twitter user Special Kherson Cat, and the Telegram channel ”Colonel GSH.”
On the previous day, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have launched ATACMS missiles at Luhansk, resulting in the collapse of a five-story residential building. The region is now in mourning, with six reported fatalities and 60 injuries.
Reports from the first deputy health minister of the “LNR,” appointed by Russia, Oleg Valiev, indicate that 18 people suffered minor injuries, including two children, in the shelling. Thirty individuals, including two children, are in serious condition, while seven are critical. Two people have sustained life-threatening injuries.
