The Prosecutor General of⁢ Ukraine, ⁢Andriy ​Kostin, revealed that Ukrainian captives‌ were subjected to⁣ horrific conditions – enduring torture, starvation, lack of⁤ medical care,‌ and physical abuse for speaking ⁢their⁤ native language.

The footage‍ showed Russian soldiers forcing blindfolded ​prisoners to⁢ sing the‍ Soviet‌ anthem, beating them, and‌ even ‍threatening them with⁤ death.

Additionally, the “Want to ⁤Live”‌ project, run by the ⁣Coordination⁣ Headquarters for POW treatment, showcased images of Ukrainian prisoner Roman ⁢Horilyk, who was ⁣captured after⁤ the‍ Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was seized by Russian troops.
