“It’s been three ⁢or four years of very hard work,”‍ Masaba said.

“Getting to the World Cup was special, ‍but this ‌is more [special].”

Riazat Ali Shah ‍played a‍ crucial role in Uganda’s victory, scoring 33 runs and forming a ‍vital⁣ partnership with Juma Miyagi to guide​ the‍ team to success.

Despite a tense finish, with Riazat’s‌ dismissal just three runs short of victory, Uganda’s determination and teamwork shone through in their historic‍ win.

“Every run ‌they scored was very important for us,” Masaba acknowledged, highlighting ‌the team’s resilience and the unwavering support they‌ received.
