Twitter’s “For You” tab, which debuted on iOS gadgets earlier this week, has begun rolling out to desktop net browsers. The new interface replaces the “sparkle” icon that beforehand allowed you to toggle between the platform’s algorithmically generated and reverse chronological feeds.
As The Verge notes, the For You tab is now the default view you see if you first go to Twitter after the replace is accessible in your net browser. That stated, the desktop model doesn’t seem to pressure you to stay with the For You feed like Twitter’s up to date iOS app does. When I visited the web site on my pc, I switched to the “Following” view after which closed the browser tab the place I used to be viewing my feed. When I opened a brand new tab and navigated again to Twitter, the positioning defaulted to the Following view.
You can now simply swap between “For you” and “Following” on net. Android coming quickly 👀
