Top artificial intelligence companies such as OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Meta, and others have come together to make a commitment to safeguard children and prevent the exploitation of minors through the use of AI tools to create child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This collaborative effort was spearheaded by Thorn, a child-safety organization, and All Tech Is Human, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible technology.
Thorn stated that the pledges made by these AI companies have set a new standard for the industry and mark a significant advancement in protecting children from sexual abuse as AI technology continues to evolve.
