Over 35 games were featured on opening night, with trailers and updates on the development process and even some release date announcements. Not many updates had been provided for Path of Exile 2 since 2021, which had some fans worried about the progress of the game. Now, at Summer Game Fest 2023, developers showed off a new trailer for the game that showcased some of the gameplay, including new abilities. In the trailer, it was also revealed that more information about Path of Exile 2 will be given on July 28, 2023.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is scheduled to release in just a couple of months and showed off a new trailer during Summer Game Fest 2023. The trailer revealed that the game will feature actor Jason Isaacs performing the voice of Lord Enver Gortash. Jason Isaacs is best known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.
Lies of P is the upcoming gothic-style RPG take on the story of Pinocchio which promises a very Soulslike gameplay. During the event, a new trailer was shown as well as the announcement that the game will be released on September 19, 2023. A demo for Lies of P is now available that includes the first two chapters of the game for players to enjoy.
