Apple is gradually phasing out the Lightning cable in favor of USB-C charging ports for its devices and accessories. However, this is no longer the case as Apple now sells the USB-C AirPods Pro case separately. The standalone case is priced at ⁢$99, significantly cheaper than the previous‌ cost of $249.
