Cosmetics retailer Lush recently unveiled their collaboration lineup of Super Mario Bros. bath items, which includes bath bombs. Bath bombs are compact balls of essential oils and other ingredients used for skincare. Lush’s founder invented them almost thirty years ago, and the company remains its largest distributor. One of their Mario-themed bath bombs is the coin block bath bomb, which contains one of six Mario-themed body soaps inside of it, to be revealed after it dissolves. However, the bath bomb has received negative feedback from customers.
According to a customer’s review, the block bomb makes the bath water look like pee. The Mario-themed bath bomb is not defective, but most bath bombs usually have better-looking final colors than “pee yellow.” The customer wrote, “I found out why no influencers are posting about the Lush Mario yellow question mark promotion.”
Despite the negative feedback, the collaboration lineup of Super Mario Bros. bath items is still available for purchase at Lush stores.
