Tesla’s Model S and X electric vehicles have received multiple price cuts this year, and now there’s another one. Tesla has reduced prices on these cars by 15 to 19 percent, effective immediately, depending on the model and trim. Starting today, the base price for a Model S is $74,990, which is $3,500 lower than before. The Model X now starts at $79,990, a reduction of $8,500. All colors are now included in the base price, so there’s no additional cost for aesthetic options. The color choices are white, black, gray, blue, or red.
