Techland, creator of the popular Dying Light franchise, faces unprecedented financial challenges

Comparatively, in 2022, Techland ⁢raked in 1.12 billion ⁤zlotys, with a profit of 746.8 million zlotys, largely driven by⁤ the success of Dying Light 2 ⁣and its expansion. However, without‍ new releases in 2023, the ⁣company’s financial⁣ results naturally suffered.

Despite the setbacks, Techland remains optimistic about its future growth prospects. The company’s‌ management believes that investing in new game development is crucial ⁢for long-term success in the industry.

Currently, Techland is focusing on a high-budget role-playing game that aims⁣ to establish a new gaming franchise. With production costs already ⁢exceeding 96.5 million zlotys, the project is a significant investment for the company.
