Anker is recalling its 321 Power Bank (PowerCore 5K, A1112) and Soundcore is recalling its A3102 Speaker in Black. The lithium-ion battery in these devices can overheat, leading to potential melting of plastic components, smoke, and fire hazards.
The company is reaching out to customers who may have purchased the affected devices via email. To confirm if your device is affected, check the serial numbers located on the bottom of each device using the provided links. The issue only affects a small number of devices manufactured between March and April of 2023. AnkerWork A3302 speakerphone is also impacted by this recall. If you own any of these devices, it is recommended to stop using them immediately and dispose of them properly.
