Senior level designer Zakari Wilson shared interesting information about legendary ships and wreckage in the long-awaited science fiction role-playing game Starfield.
A representative of Bethesda Game Studios appeared on the pages of the official website of its parent company ZeniMax and Microsoft to reminisce about key milestones in his career, talk about his hobbies, and most importantly, the work he has done in shaping the gameplay, story, and content of Starfield.
Speaking about the “humorous dialogues” that will be characteristic of some side and optional missions in the space opera (which I won’t write about to avoid spoilers), Wilson moves on to combat phases on board ships, explaining:
There will be encounters with legendary ships, enormous enemy spacecraft of very high level that will surpass any ship piloted by the player at the beginning of the game. Those who want to defeat them will have to go a long way….
The <a href="https://news.ad-astra.icu/starfield-unveils-fresh-insights-into-mythical-and-drifting-derelict-spacecraft.html” title=”Starfield unveils fresh insights into mythical and drifting derelict spacecraft”>senior designer also talked about abandoned ships and Bethesda-style emergent storytelling that will characterize the exploration of drifting ships in space:
We manually created several abandoned ships to highlight the dangers and tragedies that can occur during space travel. Accordingly, players will have to explore these wrecks and find out what happened to the crew. The most remarkable thing is that we involved people who are not part of the development team, that is, colleagues who do not usually participate in creating content, to leave a specific mark on the game in this respect as well. For example, our designer Chris Takahashi, who has experience with mods, created several very interesting spacecraft.
