Starfield is a massive undertaking for Bethesda, as the role-playing game, created by the makers of Skyrim and Fallout, will be the studio’s largest game to date, spanning 1000 planets.
Just like the endless support Skyrim received from the community, mods for Starfield are also expected to completely change how we all play the game. And now, the team that created the most important mod for Starfield on launch day is preparing for the upcoming release date of Starfield, just like the rest of us.
The authors of the upcoming modification, named Starfield Community Patch (SCP for short), are seeking volunteers to gather information about issues that need fixing and to develop workflows for quickly addressing any errors and shortcomings.
“The first (and most important) part of the patch work will be playing the game! This will allow us to gather information about issues from both our community and other players,” says Nexus Mods Community Manager ‘Pickysaurus’ in a new Discord message dedicated to the mod.
The SCP team has created a website for the patch, which, although in an incomplete state, will list contributors and known issues, as well as provide direct access to downloads for your version of Starfield.
“The Starfield Community Patch (SCP) project is a collaborative effort by mod authors and the entire Starfield player community to fix bugs, errors, and other discrepancies present in the game. This includes fixes, typos, and other changes that may have been missed (or not yet released) by the developers. The overall goal is to enhance the gaming experience for all players,” says the SCP website.
