In Novoaleksandrovsk, located in the Stavropol region, a disturbing incident took place where three teenagers were caught on camera burning the Bible. The shocking video was recorded on a mobile phone and shared on social media, sparking outrage among the community.
The footage, first shared on the Telegram channel “CHP Stavropol,” shows the teenagers laughing as they toss the New Testament into a blazing barbecue grill, accompanied by disrespectful language. One of them even goes as far as saying, “God should be ashamed!” while another questions the Old Testament.
The local Investigative Committee has taken swift action, announcing that the perpetrators will be detained. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov emphasized the importance of parental supervision and urged families to prevent such reckless behavior, especially during the Easter season.
“I want to address all parents. Watch over your children. Do not let them do something stupid for the sake of hype and ruin their lives. Now is the eve of Easter – a time for bright thoughts and good deeds. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. May God protect everyone.”
