Reports from “Kommersant” indicate that two Russian military personnel have been apprehended on suspicion of a heinous crime in the villages of Podo-Kalinovka and Abrikosovka, situated in the occupied part of the Kherson region. Shockingly, they have already admitted to their involvement.
The gruesome incident came to light when a paramedic at the Podo-Kalinovka hospital raised the alarm. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a woman’s body in a house, brutally shot with a Kalashnikov rifle. To conceal their tracks, the perpetrators set the body ablaze and triggered an explosion with a grenade. Thanks to swift action, two suspects were captured. They confessed to not only murdering their comrade but also two others in Abrikosovka, where they disposed of the bodies in a similar manner.
One of the victims was identified as Lyubov Tymchak, the head of the Abrikosovka administration. In her honor, a three-day mourning period was declared in the Aleshkinsky municipal district, encompassing Abrikosovka.
The detained culprits, Alexander Osipov and Alexander Kaigorodtsev, were members of the 144th motorized rifle brigade. It is believed that they were under the influence at the time of the crimes. Kaigorodtsev had a prior conviction for murder and aiding in drug smuggling during his prison term. Despite being released in 2020, he repeatedly breached his parole conditions, resulting in an additional suspended sentence.
