Titan Quest 2 will be translated into Russian. The information about this appeared on the project’s page on Steam.
Titan Quest 2 was announced during the latest showcase by publisher THQ Nordic and is set to bring the beloved action RPG to a new generation.
The original Titan Quest from 2006 brought the popular “kill monsters, get rewards, kill even more monsters” formula to the realm of Greek mythology. It’s an ARPG in the classic style, one of the most beloved in the genre, to the point that in 2016 a remaster was released, which was popular enough to receive its own series of completely new expansions.
The game promises a flexible character system, allowing players to create their class by combining a pair of abilities into a unique hybrid. The Steam page notes that enemies can “band together in factions and work together” to keep you on your toes, but a “thoughtful” loot system with affixes will help you fight back.
As expected, the game features online multiplayer capabilities, but unlike many ARPGs, this game promises a “hand-crafted” world, indicating that it will not have procedurally generated levels. This may reduce replayability, but undoubtedly opens up opportunities for exploring a much more enticing world filled with more interesting things to discover.
There is currently no information about the release date of Titan Quest 2, but it is expected to be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S. The game is being developed by Grimoire Games, the studio behind the well-regarded RPG-RTS hybrid SpellForce 3.
