Roblox is implementing new restrictions for younger children’s accounts and enhancing its parental control features to prioritize safety on its platform. These changes are in response to concerns about the company’s safety practices and the impact of online platforms on children.
Now, Roblox is significantly limiting the ability of its youngest users to interact with others. Users under 13 will no longer be able to exchange private messages with other users outside of specific games or experiences. While they can still view public messages within games, they must have parental approval to message others.
