Exciting updates have been unveiled by Roblox to bolster safety measures and parental controls for young gamers.
The implementation
Parents now have the ability to remotely manage settings through their own accounts, enabling them to oversee their children’s screen time, set restrictions, and review their child’s friends list within the virtual realm of Roblox.
The company has put in place safeguards that restrict communication between adults and users under 13 years old.

In addition to this, clearer content labeling has been introduced which categorizes content based on type rather than age group. This empowers parents with more control over the experiences accessible to their children.
By default, users under nine years old will be limited to “Minimal” or “Mild” content with access to more mature content requiring parental approval.
The changes were implemented following extensive research and feedback from families aimed at improving the virtual environment for all users.
