UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been fined by police for failing to put on a seatbelt whereas he was a passenger in a transferring automobile.
Sunak, who was filming a social media clip on the time of the offense, obtained a “conditional offer of fixed penalty” by Lancashire Constabulary.
CNN has reached out to Downing Street for remark. Sunak’s spokesperson stated Thursday the Prime Minister had apologized for the “brief error of judgment” whereas he filmed an Instagram video in northern England, and urged individuals to put on their seatbelt.
