While the Imposter’s Heart is dropped immediately upon beating Faelin, Faerin’s Sigil is received when players return to Faerin to report their success.

Although the gunplay of Remnant 2 is a major draw that sets it apart from other great Soulslike games, it’s also possible to optimize strong melee builds. Players interested in this avenue should fight Faerin instead of Faelin in order to receive the Melded Hilt and Faelin’s Sigil. The Melded Hilt is necessary to craft the Godsplitter, a blade with a mod that can register Weak Spot hits with enhanced damage from Charge Attacks. Faelin’s Sigil, awarded by Faelin following the defeat of Faerin, generates 10% additional mod power with melee damage.
