Fae Farm is a new mystical cozy life sim game that combines magic, romance, farming, and combat in a cartoony package. Unlike other games in the farming sim genre, such as Story of Seasons, Fae Farm can be enjoyed without focusing on romance or marriage. However, for those who enjoy that aspect, there are six dateable NPCs available for wooing and marriage. The dating pool in this magical game consists of three humans and three fae creatures, each with their own unique personalities ranging from adorable geeks to extravagant foreigners.
Multiplayer gaming is offered in Fae Farm, allowing for a little romantic competition. Players should be aware that they need to pursue their ideal love interest before someone else does if they are playing in a world with friends. At the beginning of the game, only Argyle and Jack are known, but as the game progresses, more characters will arrive on the island. Fae Farm promotes inclusivity, allowing any of the six characters to be romanced and married regardless of the player character’s gender. Two planned DLC packs are expected in the future, although it has not been announced if additional romance options will be included.
Jack is one of the characters available from the start of the game. He is a lumberjack who spends a lot of time in the Spooky Woods, occasionally seen sharpening his axe at the Tavern. Jack is a kindhearted human and outdoorsman, making him one of the easiest characters to romance. His preferred gifts include a Brown Snail, Beech Lumber, Chopped Fruit, Fruit Pies, and Fruit Salad.
Nhamashal is a fae creature with refined tastes. He enjoys stargazing and writing poetry, embodying a true romantic at heart. His unique features include different-colored eyes and fairy wings. Nhamashal has a quiet and demure personality that may come across as aloof or prideful, but with time and patience, he will open up. His favorite gifts in Fae Farm are stones and minerals such as Polished Rose Quartz, Polished Sapphires, and Polished Emeralds, with Copper Ingots being his preferred gift.
