Tchia, which is available to members in the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus, has recently added a performance mode for 60 FPS gameplay. Sony refreshes the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries every month, providing subscribers with new titles to play regularly.
Most native current-gen games offer users a choice between multiple graphics modes, typically featuring a selection between better graphics at 30 FPS and 60 FPS gameplay, with some even supporting 120 FPS on PS5. However, a few PS5 games are limited to 30 FPS, with Gotham Knights being one of the most significant examples of this limitation. One game from PS Plus Extra’s March lineup also lacked a 60 FPS performance mode, but it has now received a new update that adds this feature.
Tchia will now run at 60 FPS at 1080p on PS5 thanks to a new update, with the patch also resolving crashes experienced in some cutscenes. Additionally, this update will fix some minor bugs and improve the overall polish of the game on all platforms. Tchia launched with positive reviews as a day one open-world release on PS Plus Extra and Premium, and fans can now play it at 60 FPS, with a separate option for fidelity mode as well.
Fans interested in the game should note that it will take around 12 to 15 hours to beat the main story of Tchia. However, there are plenty of collectibles to find in Tchia, allowing gamers to increase the total time they spend in the world, with a 100% run likely taking over 20 hours to complete.
