The 82nd annual World Science Fiction Convention organizers have revealed the finalists for the prestigious Hugo Award. While traditionally focused on literature, this year’s nominations include categories that may pique the interest of gamers.

- “Wild Blue Yonder” – second special episode for the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who.
The award ceremony is scheduled for August 11th in Glasgow, Scotland. Notably, video games were first recognized at the Hugo Awards in 2021, with Hades clinching the honor. Last year, the video game category was not included.
