The investigative department employees of the Oryol Main Directorate of Internal Affairs conducted a search at Kirill Dolzhikov’s residence due to multiple money transfers to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK). This information was disclosed by “OVD-Info” citing the man’s parents, who were also visited by law enforcement officials.
Dolzhikov is suspected in a criminal case related to financing “extremist” activities, as indicated in the search warrant. The transfers to FBK were made after it was labeled as an “extremist” organization.
Furthermore, Dolzhikov’s parents were also subjected to a search by law enforcement officers. They mentioned that officers are currently stationed at their doorstep awaiting Emergency Situations Ministry personnel to assist with entry.
Meanwhile, on October 3, the Nagatinsky District Court of Moscow commenced proceedings against journalists Konstantin Gabov, Sergey Karelin, Artem Krieger, and Antonina Favorskaya. They face charges for alleged collaboration with the “extremist organization” FBK under part 2 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code. The trial was adjourned following a warning from Center “E” regarding potential provocations.
