A Life Well Lived
John was born on May 13, 1946, in Lansing, Michigan. He grew up in a small town and started working as a mechanic at a young age. He had a natural talent for problem-solving and quickly became known for his ability to fix anything that was broken. He had a passion for cars and spent countless hours working on them in his garage.
John’s love for cars led him to pursue a career as a race car driver. He was successful in his field and won numerous championships throughout his career. He was known for his exceptional driving skills and his willingness to take risks.
After retiring from racing, John continued to work as a mechanic. He was dedicated to his craft and often worked long hours to ensure that his customers’ cars were in top condition. He was respected and admired by everyone who knew him, both for his skill and his kind and caring nature.
A Devoted Family Man
John was also a devoted family man. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary, in 1967, and they were married for 53 years. Together, they had three children, and John was a proud father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.

John will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and kindness that will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, John.
