The first Nintendo Direct of 2023 has officially been announced, slated for this week. The last Nintendo Direct presentation took place in September of last year, along with an Indie World Showcase the next month. It’s always unknown exactly what each Nintendo Direct will contain, but this first event of the year will undoubtedly give insight into what fans can expect from Nintendo in 2023.
The Nintendo of America account has announced a new Nintendo Direct on Twitter this week. The new presentation is set to take place on February 8, almost exactly a year to the day as February 2022’s Nintendo Direct.

The February 2023 Nintendo Direct presentation will take place at 2PM Pacific Time, or 5PM ET. Fans have a few different options when it comes to watching the Nintendo Direct. It can be viewed on the official Nintendo website, as well as on the Nintendo of America YouTube channel live or after the event.
As usual, Nintendo has been quite secretive about what the new Nintendo Direct for February 2023 will cover, besides offering that it will be about releases coming in the first half of the year. So, some possible topics could include Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, which is set to release March 17, as well as the highly-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, coming May 12.
