The mysterious death of a Queensland woman has left authorities puzzled, as her remains were discovered in dunes at a New South Wales beach, far from where she was last seen.
Wendy Hansen, a 63-year-old grandmother, went missing six months ago after being caught on CCTV withdrawing cash from an ATM in Monto, Queensland.
Despite efforts to locate her, Hansen never returned home, prompting a search by Queensland police.
