Pavel Nestratov, the current director of the Moscow State Musical Theater of Plastic Ballet ”New Ballet,” will take over the role.
Alexey Fursin, the head of the Moscow Department of Culture, mentioned to TASS that there are discussions about potential collaboration with Berlin in a different role.
In a recent announcement, the Moscow Department of Culture revealed that the new artistic director of the Satire Theater will be Yevgeny Gerasimov, a People’s Artist of Russia and deputy of the Moscow City Duma. Gerasimov aims to steer the theater back to its original essence, focusing on the performances that defined its unique style.
Furthermore, Vladimir Mashkov has assumed the directorship of the “Sovremennik” Theater, while Konstantin Bogomolov has been named the artistic director of the Vakhtangov Theater.
