The latest annual report from‌ the Oversight Board has been released, focusing on its impact on Meta and its ability to influence the ⁣policies of Facebook and Instagram. Assessing the overall ⁤influence⁤ of the board is a complex task. From January 2021 to May 2024, the‍ board has submitted a total of 266 recommendations to Meta.‌ Out of these, 75 have been fully or partially implemented by the company, with progress reported on 81.
