It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a conducive environment for getting work done. The distractions of meetings, messages, and colleagues have always made it challenging to focus. However, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, this problem has only worsened.
The concept of hybrid working was supposed to offer the flexibility to choose the best location for each task. Working from home seemed like the perfect solution for focused work. However, with more people working from home, it has become a shared space with constant interruptions and distractions.
Even when alone at home, the constant possibility of interruptions from family, flatmates, or delivery personnel makes it challenging to concentrate. The boundaries between work and personal life have become blurred, making it harder to achieve productivity.
