Max Verstappen, the triple world champion from Red Bull, secured his third consecutive victory at the Canadian Grand Prix held at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve under challenging weather conditions.
Starting alongside George Russell from Mercedes on the front row, Verstappen navigated through the changing conditions and strategically took the lead from Lando Norris of McLaren during the final pit stops.
This win marked Verstappen’s sixth triumph out of nine races this season and his 60th career victory in Formula One, showcasing his exceptional driving skills.
The 26-year-old driver showcased his prowess by managing the unpredictable weather, engaging in intense pit stop battles, and fending off challenges from McLaren and Mercedes while handling his Red Bull’s suspension.
Following a safety car period caused by a collision between Carlos Sainz from Ferrari and Alex Albon from Williams, Verstappen capitalized on the restart and crossed the finish line 3.879 seconds ahead of Norris, with Russell securing a thrilling battle with Hamilton to claim the final podium spot.
