Netflix’s highly anticipated sci-fi show, 3 Body Problem, has been postponed once again and is now set to premiere on March 22, 2024. Originally slated for a 2023 release, the debut was first pushed back to January 2024 before this latest delay. To accompany the announcement, a teaser trailer has been released.
The adaptation of 3 Body Problem is being helmed by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the creators of HBO’s Game of Thrones, along with screenwriter Alexander Woo. The newly unveiled trailer offers a glimpse into the series’ central “video game” called Three-Body, which features a futuristic and glossy VR headset. According to Jack Rooney, played by John Bradley, the headset is devoid of a screen, headphone jack, and even a charging port. Wearing the headset transports Rooney into a hyper-realistic world, but he is quickly ejected, leaving viewers intrigued.
