Reports indicate that police officers made an appearance at the Make Ugar Great Again music festival held at the “Smena” club in Moscow. The news was first shared by Mediazona, highlighting a message posted on the event’s Telegram channel.
Organizers of the festival humorously commented on the situation, stating, “Well, Ugar has become great! Cops have busted us,” before swiftly removing the message. A Mediazona reader confirmed the presence of law enforcement at the event, mentioning that individuals wearing masks entered the venue just before the performance by the group “Wet Dumplings.” Notably, there were also individuals with “imperiak” patches accompanying the police.
Following the initial interruption, “Wet Dumplings” managed to resume their performance 50 minutes later, despite the lingering presence of plainclothes police officers at the club.
The Make Ugar Great Again festival, known for its extreme and experimental music, has been a recurring event since 2020. This year’s lineup featured not only “Wet Dumplings” but also groups such as “EXPLOSION OF A PUMPKIN IN A STROLLER WITH DIARRHEA,” “Bloody Meaty Scraps,” D.E.F.A.M.E., STOOL DONATION, and “via DROPS.”
