Israel’s relentless assault on Gaza leaves dozens dead and many displaced

Numerous Palestinians have lost their ⁢lives in Israeli assaults throughout Gaza, including‍ a drone attack on a cafe in the al-Mawasi region⁢ in the southern ⁢part of the territory,⁤ previously considered a “safe zone” by Israel’s military.

A‍ strike by Israel late on Monday‍ targeted a makeshift dining area used ⁤by displaced individuals⁢ in al-Mawasi.

Reports from Nasser Hospital indicate that at least 11 individuals,⁤ including two children, were killed. Footage from the ⁤scene depicted men rescuing the injured amidst tables and chairs arranged on sandy ground within an enclosure made of metal sheets.

In Beit Hanoon in northern Gaza, Palestinians were compelled to evacuate ‌shelters and camps ⁤as ‌Israeli forces intensified their offensive operations in the area.

“The Israeli military surrounded an evacuation center and a school where hundreds of Palestinians sought refuge, urging them to move southward,” reported Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud.
