Israeli forces conduct deadly raid in West Bank’s Jenin, resulting in three Palestinian casualties

During ⁣a recent raid in the Jenin refugee camp ⁢in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have tragically taken the lives of three Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.⁤ This incident is part of Israel’s‍ escalating attacks ‌in‍ the region.

The victims have been named as Ibrahim⁤ Taher Muhammad al-Saadi, 21; Issa Nafez Jallad, 17; and⁢ Uday Ayman Marei, 24, as reported by the director of Jenin’s government hospital to the ⁤Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Wissam ‍Bakr, the hospital director, mentioned that 15 others ⁢were injured and have been⁤ transported to various ⁣hospitals, including Jenin’s al-Razi and Ibn Sina Hospital.

During the raid, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) attended to eight wounded ⁣individuals, with five sustaining gunshot wounds and two injured by shrapnel.

The al-Quds Brigades, the armed‍ branch of Palestinian Islamic ‍Jihad, confirmed that‍ their fighters were involved in “violent clashes” near the Jenin refugee camp.

Reports ‌from Wafa indicated that a convoy ‌of Israeli army vehicles, accompanied by bulldozers and Apache attack helicopters, entered the area.

Israeli army tanks from⁣ special forces destroyed local vendors’‌ stands and targeted the main electrical transformer, causing a power ⁣outage⁤ in the camp.

According to reports, hospitals were surrounded, and emergency services were hindered from reaching the ‌injured. ⁣Additionally, at least two individuals were detained.

Israeli army raids are a common occurrence in the city⁣ and its neighboring camp.

Violence in⁤ the West Bank has‍ been on the rise for over a year, particularly following Israel’s recent ⁤deadly assault on Gaza on October 7.
